PubDAO is a Media DAO, focused on using Web3 to create a better path for online content. While utilizing Web3 to build products focused on improving the way we create Media.
Think of PubDAO, initially, as akin to a decentralized Associated Press.
PubDAO story ideas get brainstormed openly in our Discord channel, a truly collaborative process that favors coordination over competition.
The decentralized wire service is merely the first part of a broader plan for PubDAO that will ultimately produce guilds made up of writers, editors, photographers, illustrators, advertisers, and marketers. Those guilds—and an evolving set of protocols—will reduce the cost and friction in online publishing.
Who's here?
Independent bloggers; reporters and editors from established crypto news sites; reps from other prominent creator DAOs; and interested smart thinkers in the crypto space who like what we’re up to. For now, this space is invite-only, but we are very open to your suggestions for people to invite!
HOW TO JOIN?
- Join the PubDAO Discord
- Go through the onboarding process that begins in the #start-here channel.
- Go through the guild-specific onboarding process in either #onboarding-product or #onboarding-editorial (depending on which guild you join)
- Check the Bounty Board for open tasks, or check Story Ideas (Looking for Writer) for stories that need to be written.
- Once you've completed a Bounty, reach out to a DAO member to get your Early Contributor role.
